This candidate would ideally be located close to our Emerald Isle, North Carolina location to work a hybrid schedule.

ABOUT THE POSITION AND OUR TEAM: We are looking for an experienced software development professional to join our growing organization.? In this position, you will lead a small, growing team of software developers, managing software development projects that enhance, scale, and maintain our software platforms, particularly in the area of automation and orchestration. As a hands-on manager, we will look to you to help us analyze, define, develop, test, and maintain the solutions our customers depend on.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Add features, optimize, and grow our platform services and applications.
Automate, orchestrate data exchange, and otherwise bring together our disparate systems for maximum efficiency.
Design and develop new solutions to help us create and maintain raving fan customers.
Effectively leverage best-practice software design and development methodologies.
Lead, train, and mentor your team toward common goals.
Job Responsibilities and any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and support our organization’s values.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
Minimum 8 years of experience in a software development role.
Minimum 3 years leading a team of software developers.
Extensive experience with Node.js and Python.
Experience with web scraping using Selenium or, ideally, Puppeteer Node.js library.
Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL, preferably with Postgres.
Command of Git and collaborative software development.
Familiarity with regular expressions.
Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical staff.
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
Experience with Django Python framework.
Experience with PDF scraping.
Docker development and deployment.
Experience with C#.
Experience with DevOps fundamentals.
Familiarity with Jira, AWS and/or Azure services.?
