Position Summary:  This position will serve as a member of the Kenan Institute’s Research Services team, which provides research and data support on academic and translational research projects in collaboration with UNC Kenan-Flagler Faculty, the Institute’s Chief Economist, and Kenan Institute staff. The data engineer will work on several institute-led research projects including the development and build out of a set of high frequency proprietary regional economic indicators using both public and proprietary data as well as topics broadly related to macroeconomics, labor economics, capital formation, economic prosperity, among others.
