Bluematrix is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer to join our Level 2 Support Team out of Durham, N.C. office. This position is currently remote due to COVID. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will spend your day ensuring all of our applications and operations run in the most efficient manner possible. Your day will primarily consist of troubleshooting issues in production systems and assisting level 1 (phone) support with in-depth technical issues. When time permits you will actively write support applications to automate common tasks such as monitoring, alerting, and reporting. Working between our Account Managers (client services team) and our core Developers and System Administrators, you will translate colloquial terms into technical specifications and requests. The ideal candidate will have an operations-oriented mindset; strong communication skills; a proactive attitude; and a knack for technical firefighting, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
